XpertMart POS Software for Mac OS X Released November 3, 2003 (CAMBRIDGE, MA) - Dinari Systems LLC today announced the release of its XpertMart Point of Sale and Inventory Control software application for the Macintosh OS X platform. The release of XpertMart for Mac OS X is significant as for the first time retailers will have a broad range of POS peripherals to work with. XpertMart's Macintosh edition has been certified to be compatible with such popular peripherals as Zebra barcode printers, Symbol barcode scanners, Epson POS printers and MagTek credit card readers among others. XpertMart is a complete retail management system specifically designed for retailers of apparel, footwear, accessories and sporting goods. At the heart of XpertMart is a Style/Color/Size1/Size2 matrix used to input quantities into transactions such as Purchase Orders and to display stock levels, sales and other critical data. "XpertMart gives retailers the tools they need to optimize their inventory for every size and color combination," says Stephen Searfoss, President of Dinari Systems LLC. For many years retailers wanting to run a Point of Sale system on their Mac were constrained by limited choices.
