Why XpertMartTM? - Multiplatform
XpertMartTM was developed in Java™, the most advanced programming language on the market today. The advantage of a system developed in Java is that it can run on any hardware/operating system platform, be it Windows™, Solaris™, Macintosh™, IBM AS400, Linux or any other. Our database is completely open (it follows the ODBC standard) which means that XpertMartTM is compatible with other relational database management software such as Oracle™, Informix™ and Inprise™ and can be exploited using SQL commands. XpertMartTM is also compatible with any Portable Data Terminal (PDT), bar code printer or any other peripheral. Unlike most other systems, XpertMartTM does not limit you to a single platform, giving the user complete flexibility and creating important opportunities to save on your firm’s total IT expenditure.
